From Micchie with a Sneeze

Yes, I'm still alive.
Haven't updated for a while, ne?

Since my cold is still within the walls of my nose, I'll just go random with updates of my life you should not care so much about but would still be reading about. ha ha ha. and pictures of course. I luuuuuuuuuuuuurve pictures. 8D

---
Well, as I said, I have a really bad cold. I don't know how it started. But I have a suspect though, MAO! She had colds last Sunday and hell knows how prone I am to the virus. I think I have sinusitis so mucus is a constant unwanted companion, but not as bad as actually getting my nose clogged, my throat hurt and the initial stages of cough present.

Shit.

I'm not blaming Mao though. My mom always says that I have a weak immune system, which is why she always make me drink lots of vitamins, but I get sick anyway. >.<

The sad part is, I can't work properly because I'm always sneezing. Just when I was starting to edit my thesis, this happens. Must be karma. ( ̄っ ̄)

---
Actually, the cold escalated yesterday when we went to Glorietta. Because that bastard did not come, we had no classes. Of course that's a blessing for us as we are spared of the boring three hour class and his rants, I'm usually dismayed at the fact that I traveled a long way for nothing. It was a waste in a lot of aspect.

So me and my classmates went to Glorietta. My goal was to buy a book and that's it. but of course being there and with friends, I could not just run off. But I guess the reason I wasn't in the mood was because of the cold.

I bought the book with an irritating "Ophra's book club choice of the month" sticker and lamented on the fact that it will be there forever, especially after I covered the book with plastic.

Why can't it be just like the other one?! T^T

To make things worse, I rode on the wrong jeepney. Instead of the Pateros jeeps, I boarded the Makati Loop jeep in mind that it would pass Kalayaan. I didn't know Kalayaan was a loooooooooooooong way, even pass Municipyo ng Makati. So there. It felt like I traveled from Taft to Makati, instead of Ayala to Makati. Take note, I was feeling like shit because of the cold that time and travelling.

On the brighter side, I was able to take a picture of the airconditioned jeep that I rode from Ayala.

Nice, ne? I was seating at the very back, in the middle. ^^

---
I finally started using the pink lamp my mom bought me from Avon.

I just experimented with the light. I'm no good, but I like some of the shots.
Never mind me, I think I blinked in this shot. >.<

---

Today, Joanna gave me a sneakers keychain as gift!

Thanks mejor~

Haha~ now all my bag's keychains are orange and white 8D

---

And now I sleep.

But before that...I think I'll peek at the manga that Pia gave me today~ XDDD

Sabadei

Well, of course it was a pleasant night because I achieved something~ not something grand but at least I proved myself with a talent that has a lot of room to grow. Hopefully, if I fill at least half of that space, I'll be able to prove myself as someone better and who has grown and matured in her craft. ^^

But hear hear to my lovely classmates, Margaux, Joanna and Cheska who bagged trophies for other categories in this year's USTETIKA AWARDS. ^^ I am so proud of us~~!

We had a small picture session afterwards with the guest writers and Joanna's pretty friend, Erica and head to Akie's home because we have to work on our Cultural Studie's report on Satanic Ritual Abuse and Alien Abduction. Well, talk about a turn of events! Back to reality~

Since there was not enough bed to sleep on, I decided to put up my own, made up of layers and layers of cloths and fabrics, as long as it could promise me a good back in the morning. In the end it looked like this:

A FUTON! 8D

I woke up at the right time I set the alarm but I slept around 5 AM already, so you could imagine the stingy feel of sunlight in the morning, forcing the pupil to adjust to its surrounding when the whole eye wanted to shut so much. Strange enough, I did not feel like going back to bed so I just took my morning drink of Green Tea in that cute cute panda mug of Akie~

The tea was warm and fresh in the stomach. ^^ I don't know, but I've taken a liking to green tea with milk. ^^ Or as long as its frothy and not the chanoyu type. I'm not ready for that.

Around noon, Joanna, Cheska and Akie left me alone because they had to attend for a photo shoot and go home afterwards. I had to stay because Akie and I hadn't done much on the report so I had to wait for her return.

So lunch consisted of Yakisoba and Minute Made Pulpy Orange Juice, as well as dead air and alien information. 8D

Around six, we were almost done with the outline and giggling with Moulder x Scully fanvids 8D (X-Files).

P.S.

Rose Ann finally gave this up to me:

Promise I'll take care of it. (^w^) v

Family bonds~

It's nice going out with family---I realized that again.

My brother treat us for lunch at Man Hann. WEEEE~

My brother is getting chubbier~~ wahahahaha!

LOL. I love this picture. And I want that kind of wall color for my room---if ever I have one. 8D

We went to take our pictures today in a studio. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. How can the photographer make me do those kinds of poses! Eeeerk. But I did it anyway~ those pictures are for my Dad. ^^ I love the studio equipments by the way~ I wanna learn how to use those lights!

I bought a planner today, because I lost my last planner. I need to organize my time and works and deadlines. >.< Since I'm a school supply whore, I bought some other stuffs at NB too. Again, pens and stickers.

While...

My brother gets a new PSP.

determined_hammy.gif

Wut?!

Although Tita assured us that the PSP is for ll of us, I can't even touch it for the fear of getting addicted to it. I can't at the moment.

But then...

I get to use his iPod Nano for the mean time.giggly_hammy.gif

Waaaah. In the end, because Tita's money is almost running out, I don't get my mango cake but a dozen Dunkin donut instead. Not bad.

(/TДT)/

At lalo na, walang set-up for connection ng dial-up accounts. Ay aba, elitista! Porket nasanay sa plug-and-play sa DSL! Bratinela!

AAAAAH~ Pati pala DVD-rom ayaw magbasa. Buti pa kay Dante. >=(

I miss DANTE~~~!
Yes, I miss my laptop like woah.

Wonder Baby

WAAIIIX~

There's a video from youtube that I'm currently addicted to and it's titled: Wonder Baby and Wonder Girls, just type it at the search box if you're interested. I guarantee that the you'll be entertained by the talented kid! She's so adorable and can really dance! Well, the show is Star King where they find new talents. I remember they featured a kid version of DBSK before and the baby Junsu was really really cute!

Anyway, these are screen caps from the Wonder baby vid that I love~

Sorry for the poor quality, it's youtube, man.

haha~ everybody is so amused with this kid~ look at Yoo Bin and Ye Eun (specially) giggling over her~ I just don't understand why So Hee seems indifferent here.

After dancing Irony and Tell Me, the Wonder Girls joined the cute kid to dance So Hot and let me tell you, she can be the sixth member of the group! She's that good for her age! Awww~ and Yoo Bin liked her so much, she was the first to approach the kid and asked for a kiss. I dunno who taught this kid, but she sure was prepared to introduce herself cutely. *w*

So all the girls joined her for a small interview as well as host Kang Ho Dong. I think the kid was amused of Ho Dong, lol. I think he asked her who is her favorite member and it was So Hee. I still think she is a little indifferent here, so I understand why the kid hugged Yoo Bin instead of So Hee. Afterwards there was a special showdown with the cute girl (I wish I understood her name when she said it -___-; vs Yoo Bin and Sun Ye. LOL~

SOOOO CUUUUTEEEE~

*giggle*

I want a daughter like this. 8D

Grape Red

WAAAH~

I colored my hair!

For the first time~

I think I did okay... but I think I'll have some of the parts fixed by someone more experienced that me. LOL.

The first application was fine. It already colored but I wanted it brighter. So there was a second round.

funny that my mom never noticed the pink on my hair. I thought she was going to notice any minute and give me a scolding. I wasn't sure if hair coloring is fine with her. Gah~ even now, I still don't know how liberated she is with these things. She's slow to notice some things like my piercings or me getting thinner. Oh well, I'll just take it as a good thing. ^^

YOSH!

Washed and dried, that's the color~ can you see it? XDDDDD

I showed it to my mom and she said I was malandi and asked me to color her hair as well. ROFL.

I luuuuurve Mamoy! *w*

Junko Xmas costrip at Mega Mall

Last Sunday the JUNKO's invated Bubble Tea, 4th floor comfort room and 5th floor stairs of Mega Mall...because it's our Christmas Party/ Costrip day!

We were supposed to open the mall because Kamiru had to leave early that day. But because, just because, we met around twelve at Bubble Tea (as usual) and I there I had my late breakfast of ice coffee and choco pocky which I think was responsible for the kick I had the following hours.

Tomi, I think the sugar rush was responsible for my alarm-clock moments. 8DD

In between waiting for the others, LOL-moments just had to sip in like Aia's kikay grunge test run 8D

And Tomi walking in...like a policeman. 8DD No, seriously I thought she was a police at first glance. Must be the shades and jacket.

From then on, she was Porisu Rori 8DDDDDDDDD which she willingly accepted.

Then Kamiru and Benj arrived. Too Bad Trish could not make it, so I hope you'd be with us next year, ne? We already miss you too much!!! *w*

When Kamiru took out her and her sister Collette's dolls, we just had to fangirl over them. Tomi and I particularly gave them a story and other things to keep them busy, while Mao made Yohan into a Reita. XD

Elisha

Yohan

In the end, there were yaoi shots. Of course, initiated by yours trully. 8D

We were supposed to eat lunch at KFC for a bucket meal, but then there were too many people and we ended up eating at Bubble Tea anyway. The place is pretty expensive but then we didn't have much choice. I ordered a Pork Katsudon Curry.

Demo...

ORMFFF~ I should've just ordered the Seafood Dorian. I'm a big fan of katsudon but now I crave for the melted cheese, white sauce and seafood! *q*

Some catching up and laughter filled the place then the exchange gift commenced! Unfortunately the person who got my name wasn't present but I think I'll be expecting a gift from my mailbox soon, ne Trish? 8D I have a gift for you so I hope you'll make it with us next year, ne? I gave my gift to Kamiru and I think she loved it. ^^

Mini Kouyou

Then I got from Aia Mini Kouyou~ lol. You love giving me ducks because of Uru, ne? DOMOOOO~ <3

Afterwards we change into our costumes for the day. Honestly, I was a little surprised with the lack of people outside Megatrade Hall for Toycon, but I guess most of them were present the previous day. So there wasn't much people to show our costumes but then I didn't care much. We still rocked! Haha~

We were a variety:

Mao in a kimono inspired by Kagrra; Sibey/Benj in kodona inspired (i think) by Kuroshitsujin's Ciel; Aia in Girugamesh inspired look; and me just plain OOC loli. LOL. It was something I've planned before and promised to wear publicly before I die because Gothic lolita fashion is one of my favorites from Japan. Now that I've pulled the look, I can move on to more muscular costrips. Haha~ Yankee really suits me better. But thank you to Mao for the brooch and head dress; Sibey for the make-up and Tomi for the assistance~ CHUUU!

So as not to waste the effort, we found a good spot with good lighting to take pictures! I'm not posting the serious shots here but just visit my multiply site to view them. After the serious shots, we did crack pics and I love love love them~ Because I can't really pull off the Gasuloli role play, I just went photographer-mode with my camera which created miracles that day~ quality shots! Oh quality shots~

OHHH~ the OCC-ness was fun! XDDD

New Year anticipation drabble

Things to do before new year:

1: fix the color of my hair (because the red shades have uneven areas)
2. Get a manicure!
3. Remove the nail polish on my feet
4. Finish my two term papers (come what may)

Highlights of this year:

* Establishment of the Junko Circle (yes, we are a cult)
* Gained new friends (yes, more retards in my life! Wopeeeee~)
* Started writing fanfics again
* Opened a writing journal account to make my writing comeback official (yes, I'm vain. Ferk)
* Cosplayed as a yankii
* Cosplayed as a Lolita (yes, I was very out of character that day)
* Replaced my desktop PC's motherboard (Kuya Ken, you are a gift from...yeah.)
* Installed my language pack for Dante and Opti
* Realized I love Kai as much as I love Uruha (oh noes~ >.<
* Converted K-Ann and Joanna as DBSK fangirls
* Was an Honorable mention in USTETIKA 2008
* Met new people on the net
* Had Gigamochi as my youngest brother
* Stopped attenting mass (this was a pivotal point in my life, I believe)
* Realized I'm still a big fan of Spanish telenovelas dubbed in Filipino
* Learned to play the basics of Piano
* Was more open to people of my feelings (yes, rants and all that shit)
* Worshipped Chiba like whoa XDDDDD

I'm excited about this coming New Year. I just hope I gain more wisdom and courage to face changes the next year. Oh yeah, I have to lose some weight!

---

Ah~ I hope I could finish 100 years of solitude today or tomorrow.
Gambarimasu! OUUUUZZZZ!

Woops~ no quotation. The old lady with the uhm-hummm fine legs will kill me!

--

APUDEITOOOOOOO!!

I suddenly want to write a new chapter for my fic.

Hmmm...

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo screwed.

Oh. I screwed up my brother's mp3. shoez~

December 29th, 2008

Pwaaah~

Just a while ago I finished reading 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and just as I've expected, it was one of the most moving novels I have read in such a long time. The type that would make you think about the good in tragedies and and the comic acts we put ourselves into to make our time worth while. As the book always repeat: a defense against boredom and avoid idleness. Something that I can relate to very much. I've told one of my friends that being immobile is like killing yourself because it gets you bored. When I feel bored, I feel like being drained out of my life's energy. So doing something is affinity of one's existence.

And thank God, she agrees.

Because I like being affirmed of my beliefs. I'm selfish like that, man.

I don't know how to make of my emotions while reading this book but I was amused, absorbed and depressed at some point at the fate of the Buendia family. Seriously, I felt like I was dreaming the whole time I was focused on it.

That's all I can say for now~ I had more to say while I was still on the pages but...I simply love it. The style that Marquez used to write the novel cannot be carried by any word alone. It needs to be crafted in a congregation of beautiful words, near enough to reach the feeling that one would experience from the novel.

I'm really starting to love Latin Lit. From the Borges short stories our professor gave us, I don't mind spending days off my vices influenced by technology to return to the written pages, satisfied with a book in hand. *どき どき*

But I just realized that if only I have given more time and effort for the book, I could have finished it the first time I held it in my hands or for approximately three days if I devoted my whole time on it. I confess I gave up on it the first time Ate Aubrey lend it to me. After a chapter, I returned it to her and told her I couldn't finish it and made a secret pact with myself that someday I'll be able to finish the book when I've matured; experienced more of life and read more of others' experience that I experience vicariously. So I knew, I would duel solitude the great story of the Buendias in printed words once again at some point in my life.

And I believe that was realized today.

^^

A good day to everyone~
