I found the movie quite interesting, especially the way it was presented. Well, okay. This is the movie which made me realize finally, that I really love colors and that I can't live with black alone (I'm a jrock and gothic fashion fan. So black is IN). Although the story is quite the typical boy-meets-girl and with the usual dilemma of the girl falling for the boy first, the story has some twist into it.

Koizumi Riza is 170cm (she grew 2cm more in the anime), while Otani Atsushi is 156cm (he's 159cm in the movie), meaning they both fall out of the average Japanese height, and both experienced rejection because of it. The two are known by their classmates as the All Hanshin-kyojin (a male and female comic duo having the same height difference) because whenever these two fight, their enthusiam flares and the insults are funny instead of offending. However, as their friendship grew, Riza's feelings begun to change for Otani and it gets complicated for her, especially with her height complex.

Last year, I watched the movie and I love it, especially that the main characters of the anime/manga was perfectly copied by the Teppei Koike who played Otani and Ema Fujisawa who played Koizumi. Then I searched for the manga and now I have several of the volumes but It's still incomplete. I'm currently watching the anime and I can't get enough of the Kansai dialect. According to wiki: "While having one or two characters speaking Kansai-ben is common in many anime shows, having all characters doing so is unusual." You bet! And I'm so amused by it~ Really, watch the movie or the anime, it's funny and very amusing!

This anime...is...so....hentai. Well, of course, minus the explicit scenes. I just felt that it was made for guys mainly. There's too much exposure of breast, naked bodies, butt and panties it's almost unbearable. Especially that these are just high school students! The story is not so bad, there are just some points that I really want to shut the DVD because Miina and Karen are so whinny and loud, it's irritating! And they get to keep Maiku! Damn it! He's hot~ (please watch episode 1, I'm not kidding).

My classmate Kevin (who lent me the dvd) said that Mizuho-sensei from "Onegai Teacher" appeared in this series so I was curious. Onegai Twins happend 2 years after Mizuho-sensei and Kei got married. I just find it weird that the whole school knows of the relationship of the teacher and student in this series. And the ending was also a little off. Although the issue of the relative (miyuchi=relative, haha) and stranger was resolved, Maiku and Karen as twins, there are still some questions to be answered. Why were the twins abandoned by their mother? Who is she? Why does Miina have the same picture as the twins? So are they related in some other way? Who is Miina's mother and father? I read from Wiki that this was explained in the manga, and then there is another version in the novel. In heaven's name! What's the real deal?!

Anyway, what I really noticed about this anime is...well, apart from the perversion, the characters are really "different". And I mean that. The girls do not find Marie (an alien) weird floating around and gluttoning on "Prech" (a blooper on Pretz). I thought that Shimazaki was gay (although his frequent flirting with Maiku was really funny and kilig~). Matagu-sempai is a pervert and a potential rappist to his sister (incest! incest!). Ichigo Morino really changed from Ongeai Teacher to Onegai Twins as she is more outgoing but she tends to be really creepy because of her capability to stalk on others and gather private information in her own mysterious ways~ she is a voyeur, I think.

After Mao lent me a dvd of NANA 2, I was finally able to find a smaller-sized file of the movie and download it. I want to RANT about this movie. So...code-switch.

Akala ko kasi kanina, "Drama" ang subject namin at kay Tanlayco-mon a.k.a Inang kami, kaya petiks petiks lang. Tapos nalaman ko nalang sa mga kaklase ko na si Big Mac pala ang prof namin kasi Continental Literature ang subject. Diyos ko. Kinabahan nanaman ako.
2 years ago, naging prof ko siya sa Philippine Literature, at isa siya sa mga propesor kong laging magpapaalala ng unang taon ko sa Literatura. Hindi naman sa terror si Ma'am, sa totoo lang kwela nga siya kasi nakakatawa siya pero, ha-ha, wag kang papataypatay sa klase niya dahil nakakatakot siyang magalit. Ikaw ang mawawalan, hindi siya. Ang ikaw ang kawawa, hindi siya. Okay. So prof ko siya uli. Big deal...ayus lang kasi ang dami na rin naman naming nadaan na prof na nakakatakot at feeling ko sanay na ko sa Lit profs, pero nung tinawag niya ko kanina...

"Giron...oh! I remember this one. Where's Giron?"
"Ma'am..." *taas kamay* *lapit*
"Giron, Michelle Angela...oh...I remember you. Actually, I remember you pretty well." *smirk*

Sa utak ko, "what?! anong ginawa ko sa kanya?! Alam ko di kami close! What the fuck?!". So in any case, siguro may ginawa akong masama. Haaay. But I'm glad to be her student again. She's really good, veeeeery good.

Tapos, eto na ang Art Appreciation subject. Nalulungkot ako kasi ang gusto kong prof dito ay si Ms.Rivera, pero si Ms.Guevarra ang napunta sa amin. Idol ko si Ms.Rivera dahil cool siya at madaling pakisamahan. Ang astig pa ng mga pananaw niya sa buhay. I swear, sana siya yung Art Ap namin, kasi Literary Criticism pa lang namin sa kanya, feeling ko Art Ap na, kasi ang dami nyang kwento tunggkol sa Art. Ganun siguro talaga kapag inclined ka.

Base sa mga sinasabi sa akin at naririnig ko tunggkol kay Ma'am Guevarra, eh well, mas lalo akong naging bias kay Ma'am Rivera. Sorry naman~ kaso, dahil sa ganda/astig ng pananamit ni Ma'am Gueverra, pananaw niya tungkol sa art, passion nya sa kanyang ginagawa at pagkahilig nya sa anime at manga, feeling ko liniligawan niya ako~ haaay. Oh well, let's give her a chance, ne?

Bago ako umuwi kanina, nanood muna ko ng concert sa CFAD, kasi college week nila. Buti pa ang college week ng CFAD ang garbo, ang saya. Sa AB, dumadaan nalang ang AB week ng wala man lang nararamdaman. Bitter ako kasi totoo. Well, after matakut sa isang nagwawalang psuedo-Axel Rose na parang lasing, natuwa naman ako kasi after 2 boring performance ng dalawang rock band kuno eh KIKO MACHINE NAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Tae, astig talaga ng Kiko Machine, wala akong masabi! Ang hyper hyper ng mga bokalista at ngayon ko lang sila nakita up-close kasi nung paskuhan na nag perform sila ang layo ko sa stage. Dalawa pala bokalista nila at demure effect ang dalawang gitarista hapang hyper naman sa pag-giling ng katawan, maglandi sa stage at magpakyut si Spider Dan, ang dakilang bassist ng banda. Sabi nga namin, lakas ng loob nun kasi naka-takit mukha, pero feeling ko personality nya yun. HAAAY~ feeling ko lang talaga duduguin na yung ilong ko kanina after may ginawang sexy move si Spider Dan dahil sobrang yaoi ng itsura niya. Natatawa pa ako dun sa mga lalaki sa tabi namin sigaw sila ng: "I'm so gay! I'm so gay!" Haha~ nakakabakla ba? Tse. Ang dami talagang fafa sa CFAD.

No Ongaku for me. I don't blame my professor nor the performance that we have to watch tonight for our Art Appreciation subject, it's just that I wish the two events were not in the same day so I could attend them both.

I really suck at remembering birthday dates. Uhm, generally I have a really bad memory (goldfish).

Anyways, Ken is the guitarist of the band L'Arc~en~Ciel (French for 'Arc in the sky', thus it is a Rainbow). He's done solo projects and formed another band named SOAP (Sons of All Pussy) with L'Arc's former drummer, Sakura. I think Laruku's really back now because they are promoting the new album, KISS (I have to get a copy of that! XD). Ahaha~ now I want to listen to Laruku songs~ As much as I want to babble about this guy, time isn't at my hand right now. I hope that he will always do his best and I promise to do my best too! Gambatte Ken-koi! *muah muah*

Belated Happy Birthday everybody~!

I'm actually cramming for a bibliography list on my research subject due today, but I just have to blurt this out. It's too weird (and kinda funny.) ^^

My classmate Mark, told me yesterday that he had a dream of me licking Uruha's picture. Okay, this was the dream:

Mark and I was sitting beside each other. I suddenly looked at him, then I opened my notebook that was on top of my desk, took my printed Uruha picture (the one I posted before this entry. I showed it to my classmates, so they're familiar with him) and licked it!!! Of course, the poor guy was like, "OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! Anong ginagawa mo?!"

When I heard that from him, I was 0_o because never in my history of lusting over the sexy guitarist do that kind of thing. Yeah, I like him and drool over the flesh of that sexy sexy thighs and face (emphasize on the lips, my dears), but I would NEVER lick a freagin' paper.

Nyahahha~ but that was funny. Strange enough, why can't I have that kind of dream!?

Then while I was browsing through some gay-related materials for my topic,  I saw this: GAYZETTE. Now, that is not a homo-parody of The Gazette hotties, that is actually a title of one of Danton Remoto's published works (he's a prominent writer in the Philippine Gay Lit. area along with J.C. Neil Garcia). Then I remember when my friend Gin mentioned that we should form a band named Death Gays (a parody on Death Note) then other jrock bands in gay-theme was added, like: L'Arc~en~Gay, Maximum the Gay Hormones, Despairs Gay, Gay Cafe...and more.

 

NYHAHAHAHAHAHAH~

Now I should work.
