As you've been hearing from me, I'm in hell. For the second week now. Thank God my soul and spirit is still intact, I am still sane.
I miss long sleeps. I miss the blissful feeling of waking up from a siesta nap. I miss being a batugan or being a couch potato, although my TV is still on a strike. I miss getting lost on the World Wide Web and nothing to care about my reality (except of course for bladder matters).
I spent the night at my classmate’s house for a group project. Although there are still some things to finish, we're almost there. I think I'm getting fond of layouting. It is a creative activity after all. Oh, and I love the foods! The ice cream....gyah. Too good to remember. This sem, I've been spending several nights for group projects at my classmates houses. We're that busy. I'm just thankful my parents understand the situation and allow me to go.
I'm just sort of frustrated that there were some precious time wasted and I had to sacrifice my time for hours of nothingness, instead of working on papers for my major.
From proj. 8, I went to Mega Mall to meet my brother and Tita. I was seeing some cosplayers, so maybe there was a convention. I don't know. My world has been revolving some weird directions lately; I'm really not able to update myself about anime and the likes. Gaaaah. I miss going to conventions and shopping for small stuffs from the booths. I take it as a souvenir. Then there was some small incident that made me shook my head, perhaps in amusement or plain misbehavior.
I was in line to pay the item I took and behind me was a really giddy Korean guy. My purchased item was already being put in the plastic, so I stepped aside to give way to the person next to me. So I waited for my item as the lady stapled the OR on the plastic, then, when she was about to give it to me, the Korean guy thought it was his so he said something "@!#gisgjbhgdj" so I was thinking maybe he thought it was weird for the lady to give something not his. Of course that would be weird! So I immediately grabbed the item and told the Korean flat in the face: "This is mine" and even showing it to him. Then he was laughing all over the place while giggling "Sorry! Sorry!" because he understood my English apparently. I walked away in an instant. I was really amused from his reaction while I contemplated on my behavior. I'm really tired and sleepy, that would be my excuse but I think that was masungit of me. Koreans might think Filipinos are unfriendly. Gaaaah.
On the way home in the taxi, I slept. After drinking stresstabs, I went to sleep.
I woke up around 8 but stood up to open the TV, 20 minutes afterwards. I'm scheduled today to watch Music Station on Animax because the guests are really good today, but because I opened the TV 20 minutes late, I wasn't able to watch Utada Hikaru and Porno Graffiti perform, as well as the Single Ranking and Music Topics segment. Damn it. But I was able to watch from ARASHI to the last performance. Ehehe... there was some Ohmiya (Ohno x Ninomiya) implications again, insinuated by the other members, as always. They are really good friends...and fanboys of the two. Although I like the Jun x Ohno pairing too. I heard they are very close. Then of course, the reason I had to cut my rest to watch TV, was because L'Arc~en~Ciel performed! WEEEE~ and I love it! Their new song really reminded me of old Laruku songs, those songs I love.
I haven't been a really good fan lately, because after the release of AWAKE [album], I haven't supported their other projects. I really miss them so I researched a bit on what have been their activities for the past months.

"L'Anniversary" (2006)
15th Anniversary concert @ Tokyo Dome, Nov. 25-26
For a more detailed report on their activities, this is from an article of Wikipedia:
Late 2005–2007
Following the AWAKE and ASIALIVE tours, L'Arc-en-Ciel's members turned their attention back to their solo projects. tetsu began recording with a new band called Creature Creature. yukihiro rejoined acid android, which released its newest single, "Let's Dance", on 2006/04/05. acid android joined Mucc, another Japanese rock band, to perform two concerts in Shanghai, China in April of 2006.
HYDE composed the music for "Glamorous Sky", the theme song to the manga-based film, NANA starring Mika Nakashima, a j-pop singer. This was seen as a landmark step for HYDE, as it was the first time that he composed music for another artist. His most recent solo singles are "COUNTDOWN", the ending song for the Japanese release of American movie Stealth (released 2005/10/05), and "SEASON'S CALL", the opening song of new hit anime Blood+ (released 2006/02/22). Both singles topped the Oricon chart. HYDE's next solo album, "FAITH", was released in Japan 2006/04/26, accompanied by a five month tour throughout Japan between April and August of 2006. After signing on with Tofu Records, four small concerts were scheduled in San Francisco and Anaheim, California in the United States. HYDE made his U.S. debut in July of 2006, the first of L'Arc-en-Ciel's solo projects to extend internationally. On August 23, Ken released a solo single entitled "Speed."
On November 25th and 26th, 2006, L'Arc-en-Ciel played two shows at the Tokyo Dome to celebrate their 15th anniversary, entitled "L'Anniversary". A poll was created on the official website during the weeks before the concert which allowed fans to pick which songs they would like to hear at the event. The concert was later shown on the WOWOW channel on December 23, 2006. It was also broadcast on February 8, 2007 on Korea MTV.
Once L'Arc-en-Ciel reunited, the band released the song "SHINE", which was used as the opening song for the NHK-BS Anime, Guardian of the Sacred Spirit ~Seirei no moribito~. They have kicked-off their Mata Heart Ni Hi Wo Tsukero 2007 tour in Japan. L'Arc-en-Ciel released their first single "Seventh Heaven" last 30 May 2007, which topped the Oricon charts for 2 consecutive weeks. They have released new song called "My Heart Draws a Dream", used in Subaru's latest commercial. This single recently came out on 29 August 2007 and it made the #1 spot in the Oricon Weekly charts. Aside from this, L'Arc-en-Ciel will be releasing other new material: "Daybreak's Bell" is to be used as the first opening for the anime Gundam 00 which will be released on October 10th;in November 14th and until December 25th there will be a limited edition of a new single called "Hurry Xmas"; an album is set to be released in November 21st, entitled Kiss; two DVDs will be available in September and December (L'Anniversary Live and Chronicle 3 respectively).

I'll try to update once Finals are over, so I'll settle for now with that and try to gather new medias of this band. Well, I've been a fan for almost 6 years now, and I owe it to Laruku that I exposed myself with other types of Japanese music. And of course, I owe it to my friends who convinced me to watch Chronicle I and II which led me to this addiction with Laruku and the foundation of my love to KEN. ^^
I really giggled seeing Ken at the guests’ area of MS today. Ehehe. He looks the same, a little older, but the same. Hyde looks a little haggard; I hope he takes care of himself, especially his voice! He's been under operation before, so I hope he takes care of his health. Tetsu's eye bags are getting waaaaaay ugly. I hope with the money he's making, he'll have them operated. It looks really awful on him. Oh well, it goes to show how hard-working he is as an artist and as Laruku's leadershii~ Yuki looks the same! He looks 25! Nyahahaha~ He likes Avril Lavine so his style is a little punk, but hah! Don't underestimate the skinny guy! He can play the drums like a tornado! I think I heard somewhere that his drumming speed is beyond average. Cool~ apart from the *eherm* physical similarities with Shun Oguri, I think Yuukie is a really nice guy. And he likes looooong hair. Envious.
Okay, just to give some pics of Laruku:

This is one of the best pictures I've seen of them. From the right to left:
Ken Hyde Tetsu Yukihiro

If I am not mistaken, this is from their Niji days, the period when Yukihiro replaced Sakura as drummer of the band. Hyde is soooo pretty in this picture and he looks like a girl. Eyeliners and eyes hadows really suits him. Even Yukihiro's hair is short! Totoy na totoy... Tetsu looks like a mother (well, according to them, he IS) while Ken looks like a "mama-san". NYAHAHAHAH! XD

Ahaha! I just find this picture really cute. Which reminds me, Laruku have active in the US for quite sometime so I'm glad they are back in Japan. I don't want them to end up sounding like an American band. That would be the worst.

From the SMILE Album promotions period. I really want this boxes! I wanna make one!!! XD
Waaaah. I have to start on my paper now. I really should be ashamed of myself for being such a slacker, but I can't help it. I really defy insanity so I'm aiding myself with things that pleasure me.
DEMO!
Before I go, I just find this really funny! I found it while browsing for torrent files. Nyahahah~ For those who knows Dir en Grey's Shinya (one of my fafas) and his background will find this pretty funny:
(japan-music) [single] Shinya Ohe + Johnny Thunders - Great Big Kiss (1988)
NYAHAHAHAHA! I really can't imagine Shinya, the timid, quiet but oh-so-cool-drummer of DEG in rollerblades and shinny vests! NYAHAHAH! XD
